General CPAP Machine Limited Manufacture Warranty
CPAP, BiPAP & APAP machines are sold with a 1, 2, or 3-year Limited Manufacture Warranty (depending on the unit). This warranty is available only to the initial consumer. This warranty is not transferable. Limited Manufacture Warranty warrants that the CPAP unit (excluding consumable items forming part of the CPAP delivery system) when used in accordance with the instructions for use, shall be free from defects in workmanship and materials and will perform in accordance with the manufacturer specifications for a period of 1, 2 or 3 years (depending on unit) from the date of purchase by the original user. Warranty claims can only be made when accompanied by proof of purchase (i.e. sales receipt).
Limited Manufacture Warranty does not cover:
- any damage caused as a result of improper use, neglect, abuse, modification, accident, misuse or alteration of the product;
- failure to follow instructions for use;
- unsuitable physical or operating environment;
- water damage;
- other defects not related to materials or workmanship;
- failure to use original spare parts;
- repairs carried out by any service organization that has not been expressly authorized by ResMed to perform such repairs;
- any damage or contamination due to cigarette, pipe, cigar, or other smoke;
- any damage caused by exposure to ozone, activated oxygen, or other gases; and
- any damage or contamination due to insect infestation.
If your machine malfunctions while under warranty, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. You are required to describe the problem and supply supplementary photos or videos to help with the diagnosis of the issue. You'll also need to supply the machine's SN/REF/LOT numbers to authenticate your unit and a clinician will complete a troubleshooting checklist with you. If the problem cannot be fixed with the clinician, we can proceed with a manufacturer warranty repair. Warranty repair approvals are made exclusively by the manufacturer and MonsterCPAP is not responsible for the manufacturer denying a repair. The customer is responsible for shipping their unit to us at their own cost and MonsterCPAP will work with the manufacturer for repairs and return the unit back at our cost. Repairs can take 8+ weeks and you will be without your unit for this period of time.
For consumers who are covered by consumer protection laws or regulations in their province of purchase or, if different, their province of residence, we will respect the requirements of those consumer protection laws or regulations.
The iBreeze CPAP System (model 20A) (“Product”) is a Continuous Positive Airway Pressure therapy device designed for the treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea. THE PRODUCT IS SOLD “AS IS, WHERE IS”. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE, REGARDING THE PRODUCT OR ITS QUALITY OR PERFORMANCE. WE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN NO EVENT WILL OUR MAXIMUM LIABILITY EXCEED THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE OR WILL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY ECONOMIC LOSS, LOSS OF PROFITS, OVERHEAD, OR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
If a defect arises in the Product, the consumer must return the Product to the manufacturer. We make no representation as to the existence and/or sufficiency of any warranty the manufacturer may offer.
